Rory Gallagher at Conrad Hotel

In 1994 Rory lived at CONRAD Hotel London, because he didn`t liked to make his home liveable. He stayed at room 710, with a view over the Thames yacht harbour.

Rory shot this self portrait in March 1994 with his brand new camera and sent it to Rudi together with the book (from Nicolas Ray) Rory held in his arms. The photo was enhanced in brightness to make the ``Silvertone / Teisco self-contained electric guitar`` visible - a guitar with built-in amp and speaker. Rory is over exposed now and the glass of milk on the sill at the left is hardly to see.
